Sales Manager



  1. Oversee day-to-day and assist his sales team in leading sales for achieving the sales objectives
  2. Supervise and manage the overall operations for sea & air export
  3. Keep and secure nomination and cargo bookings with maximum contribution to the company as stipulated from time to time.
  4. Visiting customer, maintain existing customer and bring in new customer/business
  5. Ensure the daily operations up-to-date and all inquiry answered within same day or within 24 hours
  6. Responsible for promoting services for providing quality customer service to clients
  7. Follow-up on routine order / nomination shipment from overseas branch offices or appointed agents
  8. Provide management market data such as potential customer, its traffic matrix, sector and competition to enable management to formulate effective sales strategy.
  9. Solve all problems/difficulties in respect of customer satisfaction and perform quality sales/lifting
  10. Negotiate competitive freight rates & space allocation with liners and trucking operator
  11. Give directions and resolutions for all routine and non-routine business problems
  12. Build up a professional image and maintain a close and friendly business relationship with clients
  13. Recommend joint visits to target clients with team and Management
  14. Follow market development and report with respect to the concerned trade and services
  15. Interface and communications (e-mails/mails/calls) with customers, principals & agents
  16. Close working coordination with operations (back office) team to determine essential strategy approaches for services to customers and sales achievement
  17. Develop his organization, coaching his/her team and team work
  18. Provide professional advice to GM if any issue arise
  19. Any other assignment as and when assigned by his direct superior



Minimum Level of Qualification :

Minimum 5 years working experience in shipping/forwarding industry, Bachelor Degree / University graduated in Marketing, or equivalent, qualified sales achievement


Professional Skills:

  1. English fluency
  2. Strong in reporting, analysis
  3. Has a broaden customer network coverage in any trade and services
  4. Awareness of worldwide economy and freight market
  5. Knowledge shipping / forwarding industry
